TWINVERSE brings together 26 partners from seven European countries, a deliberately broad alliance of research institutes and universities, cities, industry and SMEs, and civil-society networks. Each mission city anchors its own local cluster, or “galaxy”, of collaborators.
Our partners don’t work in parallel. They work together. Researchers and city planners co-design the tools; AI and governance experts keep them human-centred and explainable; industry partners make them market-ready; and networks carry the results across Europe.

UCC-TYN (Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork, Ireland) — Delivers advanced building and energy analytics.
UIC — Brings expertise in governance mapping and capacity building.
VUB-FARI (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, AI research institute) — Contributes social sciences and humanities integration and ethical AI.
FMI (Finnish Meteorological Institute) — Contributes authoritative meteorological knowledge, including a lead role in the HIRLAM forecasting consortium.
DREVEN — Specialises in AI-enhanced environmental and climate services within digital twins.
RINA – Improves the capabilities of the PlanHeat tool, bringing robust engineering and international reach to translate research into market-ready applications.
LIBELIUM Integrates TWINVERSE outcomes into its portfolio of Data Space, IoT and advanced analytics solutions.
REAL (RealSim) — Improves its commercially available digital twin platform, adding new capabilities including 3D urban simulation.
ING — Builds a digital twin platform focused on transport modelling, leveraging its existing products.
WR (White Research) — Strengthens its services around integrating socio-demographic and economic data into digital twin platforms.
C4EU — Promotes local adoption of TWINVERSE outputs through communication and engagement strategies.
ABE — The Association of Balkan Eco-Innovation co-leads communication, dissemination and exploitation planning and activities.
ICONS — Co-leads communication, dissemination and exploitation planning and activities alongside ABE.
FPI — Acts as an innovation intermediary, linking project results with regional innovation ecosystems and market actors.
MLC — Acts as an innovation intermediary providing access to mobility and logistics networks.
OASC (Open & Agile Smart Cities) — Anchors the project within international smart city networks and standardisation activities related to Data Spaces.
The consortium is the starting point, not the limit. Through open results, training and a cross-sectoral community, new cities and ecosystems can join the constellation over time.
